BC Curriculum-based Science Courses
With a strong team of scientists interested in outreach, Ivy Lab Education is committed to fostering the next generation of young scientists. In addition to traditional tutoring, we have to capacity to mentor Science Fair projects, as well as assist students in completing Advanced Placement biology and chemistry laboratory curricula.
Weekly small group classes for all ages and levels
Advanced Science and Writing for Gr 7-8
Continuing with good study habits, students will learn to take effective notes and write lab reports. They will constantly be challenged and learn to answer their own questions. Critical and analytical thinking will become their second nature. Having the opportunity to prepare presentations and teach one another, they will develop critical soft skills.
We will start strong in high school doing a Grade 8-9 Preview Program. Alternatively, students can join the Grade 8-10 Accelerated Science Program where the BC curriculum and topics beyond will be discussed. Students in the Accelerated Science Program are encouraged to participate in Science competitions.
