Dr. Wang
With a PhD in Chemistry, Dr. Wang has been teaching higher education for over 25 years. Skilled in simplifying complicated science concepts for students to absorb, Dr. Wang's boot camps greatly increase student performance in AP/SAT exams for university preparations.
Dr. Wang can teach math, physics, and chemistry in 1-1 as well as small group settings (3-4 students per group).
Dr. Lai
An immunologist and artist, Dr. Lai is a proponent of S.T.E.A.M. teaching. She uses her creativity to customize challenging science & technology curricula for students who want to advance their learning, or design projects for children who simply wanted to have their curiosity quenched.
Dr. Lai obtained her PhD from UBC and has performed research in Gothenburg Sweden and Boston USA. Dr. Lai taught university immunology and lab courses, and has over 20 years of experience training research scientists.
She is versed in mentoring Science Fair projects, teaching presentation skills, as well as developing education and career plans.
Dr. Gayford
Dr. Gayford has been teaching history, English literature, political science, and writing for over 11 years. He has extensive online teaching and tutoring experience, is a professional editor and copywriter, and continues to pursue historical research. He is currently writing a book on British colonialism in 18th century India. Dr. Gayford has a PhD in history from the University of Waterloo, a MA in Medieval Studies (English literature and history) from the University of Toronto, a MA in political science from Tel Aviv University, and a BA in history and English from the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. G is passionately interested in history and literature, and offers courses in a on a variety of historical and English topics.
Ms. Choi
Ms. Choi earns an Education degree from University of Victoria and a Masters degree in Science Education degree from UBC. Currently teaching in private schools, Ms. C teaches Math and Science with passion.
She also brings us her teaching experience and strategies needed to prepare for standardized tests.
Ms. Jiang
Ms. Jiang holds a Bachelor's Degree in Math and is currently completing her Education degree at UBC. She is a very enthusiastic teacher that utilizes various methods to make you understand math concepts.
Ms. Gabay Schur
Ms. GS holds a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing and an Education degree at UBC. Ms. GS is the go to person for English writing.
Dr. Poon
Dr. Poon is a research scientist enthusiastic about sharing her passion in science and outreach. She is an expert in interdisciplinary science, and is adept at showing young children how the world connects. She can easily spark your child's interest in S.T.E.A.M.
From Science Fair projects to discussing cool science news, Dr. Poon's energetic, engaging, and amiable personality, makes her the go-to person for children who wants to start S.T.E.A.M at an early age.
Ms. Shen
With a BSc (Honours) from the University of Waterloo and a Masters degree in Organic Chemistry, Ms. Shen can help you with Math and Chemistry.
Utilizing mind-map techniques, Ms. Shen guides her students to think logically and explore complex concepts, enabling them to build a solid foundation for tackling all types of problems.

Spanish teacher with 30 years of teaching experience, that can help you nail your Spanish songs!
Mrs. Sempere
Native speaking French immersion teacher with more than 20 years of experience teaching in France and at private schools in Vancouver.
